Sankibo - Daitengu Zuijin
One of the martial styles used by the Zuijin is the Demon Fist, an otherworldly melee style that combines unnatural, dancing movements with a variety of claw weapons. Originally developed specifically to counter and imitate fighting demons, this style is extremely disturbing and difficult to predict. Sankibo is one of the main practitioners of this style and has to divide his duties between teaching new recruits and fighting the wandering demons that come through the gate. Her headgear and accessories are meant to make her enter the enemy's state of mind; when she wears them, she assumes the demon's identity and her personality recedes.

Akaribo - Daitengu Zuijin
Exorcists are an essential part of the Zuijin and use their rituals to strengthen the barriers and enchantment magic surrounding the Sealed Gate, in addition to performing routine maintenance of the Seal itself. Their barrier techniques can also drive out demons in their realm under the mountain, depending on the strength of the exorcist. Akaribo is one of the strongest exorcists of his time and devotes much of his efforts to maintaining the seal on the Gate of Despair itself, performing complex dances with his ceremonial sword and fan. However, the current exorcists are not strong enough to fully reconstitute the Seal's magic, which is slowly weakening over time. Unless the Eight Sages are reborn, there will come a day when the Seal will fail completely.

Jirobo - Daitengu Zuijin
Jirobo studied with the Xueren on the high peaks of the Qian Sheng Shan, learning the martial arts and Qi cultivation techniques of the Heavenly Gate Sect (Nan Tian Zong). She excels in hand-to-hand combat, but also uses her Qi to control her ancient sword, Onimaru. Possessed by the spirit Onimaru, the sword resonates with Jirobo's Qi and can combine her strength with his Qi to create powerful attacks. More partner than mere weapon, Onimaru is sentient and can communicate with Jirobo through Qi resonance. Over time, Onimaru can gain enough strength to manifest a spirit form outside the sword.
